Eventus has joined forces with
Blackpool based Keyworker Homes Ltd to acquire an old
medical center in the lively town centre of Nantwich,
Crewe. The site has a principal frontage onto Beam St
which is one of the main arterial routes located just
seconds away from the main car park for the town and
will play a fundamental part of the town’s regeneration.
The site is in an area characterised as being mixed use
with commercial, municipal and residential uses
adjoining e.g. Library, Fire/Police station, Civic
Center.
Plans are being drawn up for a
15,000 sqft retail unit that will act as a gateway to
the town centre. This is the first deal the two
companies have done collectively and it’s kicked off to
a flying start with a number of interested parties
coming forward to use the space.
As of the 1st Feb the site was granted planning permission and have since signed Marks&Spencer up to take on the lease of the building. The site will have 10,000sqft of retail
space with a 5,000sqft mezzanine level for staff
room/storage and 22 car parking spaces.
